Online users want simplicity.
So these days, search
engines such as Google, All The Web, Yahoo!, and others offer their users
the ability to search for information using a simple and clean search tool.
OpenMLS, also, offers a simple way to find our community listings.
We provide a fast and user-friendly keyword search
located at the top of our pages. You'll notice the search interface
looks similiar to other search engines and the reason for this was to present a tool with "familiarity" instead of complexity and confusion.
Searching is really simple: Type in one or more words into the search
field and click "OpenMLS Search" (or press Return).
 Ex. orlando home
With "Match ANY word" all listings are returned which contain at
least one of your search terms. If "Match ALL words" is selected, only those listings are
returned wich contain all of your search terms.
Alternatively, you can place a plus sign +
directly in front of one or more words to only get listings which include
all those words. Words with a minus - sign directly in front of them
change the result so that only listings are retrieved which do not
contain any of those words.
Ex. orlando home +retirement
Ex. orlando home -mobile
Unfortunately, phrase searches are not supported.
Our search results are ordered
by relevance with the most relevant listings listed first. Relevance depends on
the number and position of matched words in the listing pages.
