OpenMLS is an online listing community where anyone can post and advertise property worldwide. This service is open to the entire online community including buyers, owners, professionals, businesses, government, and everyone else worldwide.

OpenMLS is not a real estate brokerage nor is it affiliated with the National Association of Realtors or the Open MLS Institute.

OpenMLS is simply a "level playing field" for everyone worldwide to buy and sell properties.

Building An Open Community

The main goal is to encourage openness. We believe this will directly create a channel of communication between a new group of buyers and sellers who would not have had an opportunity in the past. eBay, Craigslist, and open source communities have proven that when people are given a voice and are informed, everyone wins!

In a nutshell, this is the focus for OpenMLS.

The History Stuff

The OpenMLS idea was hatched by one, Corey Leong. His idea is to centralize the entire multiple listing system where everyone has a chance to post and view all listings worldwide. When he's not working, Corey is an XML programmer, and an open source software advocate.
